Experimenting

The first photo is a collection of photographs I took while in Europe, most of them are of London since I haven't printed many from Paris or Versailles. I made the collage to hang in my work space for AP Studio Art.
The second and third photo were the results of playing around with the scraps from the first photo. I love the second photo and how they look like kites.

Spring 2012

This morning I discovered a memory card that I thought I had lost forever. Upon opening the files I found these photos from a contest I did in the spring. So even though it isn't current work, these are still pieces I'm proud of.
I originally combined these photos for a Visioneers contest. Most of the photos were taken behind MIAD, before a spring weekend course I took there. The idea behind this was less is more. I decided to go with less pollution and more awareness for what we our doing to our planet. Here are two of the five I submitted. These two were centered around what caused the pollution. I combined photos to help get across the point that there were more than one factor to take into account. One does damage but we have a lot more than one to blame.

Paris: Part Two

More Paris photos!

I went back to my old editing style for these and I'm not quite sure if I prefer them like this or with a more natural edit. The first photo is of the Eiffel Tower when we first stopped there during our bus tour of the city.
The second is through the windshield of the tour bus. It is probably one of my favorites to be honest.
The third was taken on our way to Versailles as we went over a bridge. I had my camera on continuous for this photo and I chose this one since it was the one where the light posts lined up the most.
The fourth photo was an early photo from the drive to Versailles.
The fifth photo was taken through the windshield of the bus once again while we were on our way to the Eiffel Tower for our river cruise.
The sixth is a close up of this amazing clock sculpture next to our of the entrances to the Metro. I loved it and took multiple but out of all of them I liked how this one didn't exactly show what the sculpture as a whole looked like.
The last photo was taken during the river cruise underneath one of the bridges. I tried to get this shot multiple times on the first time we passed it and on the way back and while editing I realized I got it!

Paris

In the middle of June I went on an English trip to London and Paris; however I just started editing the photos from Paris last week. So, I thought I'd post some since I'm in the middle of a photo shoot and I haven't posted anything in over a week. I think my new goal will be to post on here at least once a week. Anyway, the first two photos were taken when we first got to Paris and were driving to our hotel. The third photo is from when we first got into the city and were on our way to Notre Dame. Then the last two were taken inside Notre Dame. I may post more at a later date.

Here are the other photos from the Flag Face series. I plan on slowly adding to this over time but with school starting and a few other things going on I'm not really going to have much time to put toward this.
